This webinar will include PowerPoint slides and live video and commentary from Richard Tauwhare, a UK expert who brings to bear for his clients over 40 years of experience as a senior foreign service official, consultant, and trainer. Each registrant, even if unable to attend, will receive a copy of the presentation, certificate of completion, speaker contact information for follow-up questions, and access to the webinar recording a few days after the webinar airs. Webinar participants are invited to submit questions during the webinar and the final 30 minutes will be allotted to answering attendee questions.
Speaker Bio: Richard Tauwhare is an independent consultant who specialises in advice and training on UK and EU export controls, sanctions, single market and customs regulations, and trade issues related to Brexit.
A former senior UK diplomat, Richard has 40+ years’ experience with negotiation and implementation of international and EU trade regulations, particularly export controls and sanctions, including heading the department in the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office responsible for export controls and trade sanctions. On leaving the UK foreign service in 2014, he joined the London office of US law firm Dechert LLP as a Senior Director in the International Trade practice before setting up his own consultancy in 2019.
